CAKE!

This was a while ago but a very special funny day for me. On June 7th Our congregation did a talent show/cake contest and Sam Oliver and I tried it out. We made a vanilla raspberry tart cake with Fondue! (Cannot forget the fondue my friends)And we were 3rd place! Yea..Honestly Sam and i didn't even like our own cake, but fondue was fun. There were some amazing ones so much creativity in them. This one to my left was a friend's named Lauren Smith.

She is amazing with baking. This was called "spaghetti and Meatballs." Sam and I stayed up till 2 in the morning baking. It was basically both our 1st time to layer a cake, and Yes i was tired..So i plopped the 2nd layer on when it was hot..And gradually it 'deflated' and cracked in the middle. Bummer.. but Sam's mom also helped allot too so clap for Sam's mom! (Don't clap now you'll look retarded..This is no Sesame

street)Over all everything was fun. 2 friends of mine, Sam Oliver and Dallas Smith played guitar for us in the back of Sam's car. There both really talented, and crazy enough- Sam, Dallas, a friend named Aiden and I had the guts to sing at the talent show. We sang ' Banana Pancakes' by Jack Johnson front and center. We did good..If you could here us over Dallas  playing in the mic, but we heard ourselves, and ourselves were awesome. There were many teens there. The little kids played games and teens played music and played volleyball..And we petted a goat. (*Go goats!*) This was my 1st 'gathering' with this congregation and it was a blast. I just moved here from CA in May so i was nervous and quiet (Yea me quiet? HA)It was fun, and i definitely recommend it to people out there. Start a talent show! or cake contest. At the same time..It's not as funny till someone gets cake in there face...Now that will be a different day..different post.See you guys-Jesslyn
